Our technicians are trained and experienced in scheduled annual and intermediate servicing along with 500hr and end of warranty maintenance.
We mobilise technicians to provide scheduled and reactive maintenance services. Our technicians are specifically trained for each project and have varied experience with equipment used in this field.
Competent Technicians
To achieve this our technicians are trained in the following as minimum:
- RUK/GWO working at height rescue for wind turbines
- Renewable UK-approved medical examination for wind turbines
- Relevant lift user training
- First aid at work
- Bolt torque and tension
- Slinger, signaller & banksman
- Various mechanical & electrical engineering qualifications
- Wind turbine safety rules
Technicians also have the following internal training competencies: –
- 2-day induction training-introduction to wind turbines
- Manual Handling
- Environmental awareness
- Risk assessment awareness
- COSHH assessment training
